Untamed Lands Fact Sheet
Status: Shooting!


Synopsis: Untamed Lands is set in a land of fantasy and legend, where a reluctant hero known as Crow becomes the only hope for the nomadic tribes of ancient Ireland when they're caught in the middle of the power struggle between the young, godlike Empress of the Untamed Lands and the nature-loving druid order who have given her the title, Nightmare.


But out in the Untamed Lands of Erin, the druids, dubbed Hoods by the tribes, are in disagreement about how to achieve their goals, the tribes have begun to fight each other for food, and Empress Mora, daughter of the sun and moon, is obsessed with getting a crystal that will increase her power immeasurably.

Untamed Call for Crew and Extras June 4, 2008
Untamed Lands is currently looking for crew in a variety of positions from skilled Editors to people willing to run errands and many stops in between. If you or anybody you know is interested in the opportunity to work on a movie over the summer, direct your emails to


Untamed Lands is also looking to fill background positions for fighter types (fit, male, 20-50), tribespeople (women 20-50, children , and a couple druids. So if your desire is to get involved in front of the camera instead of behind it, once again send your emails to


UPDATEThe drop-in night scheduled for Friday, June 13th has been moved to Thursday June 12th due to scheduling conflicts at Arts Court. It will still take place from 5PM to 9PM but will be on day sooner on the 12th. We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause and hope you'll still get out to see us. Arts Court is Located on 2 Daly Avenue right across from the Nicholas St entrance to the Rideau Centre. (Extras may be able to get on set as early as Saturday, the 14th.)

 

Principal Photography Starts! May 28, 2008
Untamed Lands started principal photography as scheduled on the 17th of May. There was a little rain in the afternoon but it didn't hold us back. Shooting now continues into August.
